Lifeline DH: Overview

We designed this  frame for one purpose - to go down the mountain really fast. Doesn't matter if you are a racer, or ride just for fun - Lifeline is the right tool for the job. Starting with the geometry - long and slack, through the lightweight and stiff composite construction, and active, yet efficient suspension, Lifeline DH frame is a heart of a very fast bike. And as the terrain gets harder, lines get steeper, the limits of this bike are still very, very far away.

Composite front triangle (monocoque) and swingarm, made from carbon and vectran fibers gives us new design possibilities :

› allows reducing and optimizing  weight
› every frame can be tailored for rider weight and riding style
› gorgeous look

Main design advantages :

› Shock is mounted directly to the suspension links
› No shock mounts in the front triangle or the swingarm
› The simplicity of design also gives better stress distribution in frame
› Ultra short linkages gives stiff and very light construction
FDS Suspension: Floating Damping System is patent pending bike suspension system.
We believe it to be the most advanced development among virtual pivot suspension project.

Suspension system characteristic :

› Active under braking
› Efficient pedalling
› No pedal feedback
› Low center of gravity
› Great small-bump sensitivity even with an air shock
( But all these theoretic are only words and can not describe how fast this suspension is! )

Lifeline Nano DH: Overview

You can build up a nanoDH frame with tough components, coil suspension, DH wheels and tires - and you got yourself a short travel DH bike - a very good one. But that's not where the magic of this frame is. Choosing the components carefully, saving the weight - using light, but stiff wheels, air suspension, maybe a travel adjustable fork, lightweight high volume tires, dropper post and wide ratio casette you can create something else. A  bike that will take you to the top of the mountain under your own power, and then make you grin like a madman on the way back down. It will sharpen your skills, too - you can (and will) ride it like a DH bike, it's just that it will not forgive as many mistakes as a DH bike.  So it's up to you to make up the difference - and progress along the way.  If the above makes you think 'SuperEnduro' - that's the point, too. As long as the focus is on the downhill performance, this bike will not hold you back. And when the trail or race course gets scary steep, you'll appreciate the DH-derived geometry.

About us

Our Company was formally founded in 2009 by 3 people.

Pawe Marczak (welding and material technician)
Jerzy Dbrowski (designer)
Jan Putniorz (manager).

We have been involved in the bike industry for many years with numerous different ideas and prototypes - Eventually our first frame LIfeLine was manufactured under the official name Antidote Bikes. Our team at Antidote has been driven to take what we were typically riding and try to improve the design. We rode on many many different bikes and every time there was something that we could find to improve. Something little missing that we tried to make better in our subjective vision. First we designed FDS (floating damping system) which was/is unique on the market. That solution proved to be a milestone in comparison to other suspension designs available on the market (mostly monopivot systems). FDS gives us the possibility to build a very fast bike with a very plush start of travel (about 10-20%), progressive work and so called "never ending travel" - you always have ready the exact amount of travel that you really need. You don't use the full range of travel on every bump. It's like the suspension comparison of an old school American classic muscle car and WRC rally car. You get the picture?

Antidote is currently working with two materials : Aluminum (7020/7075) and Carbon fibre (toray 800). We have always leaned towards producing bikes from carbon fibre because of the weight, sexy look and overall stiffness you get! The common problem working with these materials is you need good experience and well rounded technology. We are very lucky to have both. As long as we're manufacturing and producing our frame hand made we're checking every production stage to be sure that everything is 100% perfect. We are so involved in this project not only as a business but also as our passion. We are all riders that like to push our limits on the trails and we take that energy into our designs that are by riders for riders. You just need to see our smiles every time we look at a finished frame
